For Valentines Day we thought we would share a story told to us by John Cook during an interview Christine Danchuk did with him at the 2015 Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals. John is only the second owner of this particular 1955 Hardtop. He purchased it from the son of the original owner, Norman Monken, after Norman passed away. Usually when a car changes hands the history and the story the car tells starts fresh. But not in this case because after he purchased the car John was approached at a show he was attending with a “To Whom it May Concern” letter. In that letter he learned of a love affair that his car was part of that had lasted 60 Years…and counting. Check out the Video and take a look at the pics in the gallery. Oh. And Happy Valentines Day. Every one of these cars has a story to tell and this one is just wonderful.
