We will start this week with this beautiful 1956 210 sedan with a Del Rey interior sent to us by Mark West. Thanks for sending Mark. What a beauty…

Mark writes… “My 1956 Chevy 210 Coupe, with Del Ray Interior, was purchased from Paramount Chevrolet, in Downey, by my aunt’s father. He later gave the car to my aunt. In 1974, my aunt gave the car to me. It has owned me ever since.
The car has its original 265 V8 engine with 110,000 original miles. It is mated to its original cast iron Powerglide transmission. I first started driving the car my senior year of high school. It became my friends, and mine, go to car for cruising. We could pack a few people into it.
My best friend was taking auto body repair at Cerritos Community College. He wanted to use my car as his project. He removed all the little shopping cart dents, and scratches, and painted it in Tropical Turquoise / Indian Ivory lacquer (The original colors). At the end if the year there is a car show at the neighboring mall. The first picture is from that show.
I have been purchasing parts from Danchuk for years. Starting when you were a couple of streets over from your current location. Does anyone else remember that small parts counter? Now the best thing about picking up you order is the parts showroom. The cars are not too shabby either. But what makes Danchuk first class is its employees. They are always courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
