This 55 2-door sedan was sent in to us by John McKelvie.

John writes… “I bought his car from a little old lady from Fremont Ca in 2009. She and her husband were the second owners. It had not been driven in over 30 years. They got it running so they could sell it. It was quite the adventure driving it home, not knowing which way the brakes were going to pull when I tried to stop. Since then new 350 engine, 700r4 trans, dropped spindles with disc brakes with power. Completely rewired, R&P power steering, tilt column, new interior. Most of the exterior chrome and stainless replaced (thank you Danchuk!) Vintage air, and a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember at the moment. Lots of parts supplied by Danchuk”.

Next we have this beauty sent to us by Eric Kincade. That’s Eric’s Dad in the pic. It’s his 2nd Tri-Five.

Eric writes... “My 78 year old Dad on the day he bought his second Tri-Five. He bought a 55 Belair Sport Coupe when he was 19 back in 1961. This past May he saw this 57 Belair Sport Coupe sitting on a used car lot for sale. He bought it without driving it. The car had been locally owned since 1973. It has a 350 engine with a mild cam, a Borg Warner 4 speed transmission with a Hurst shifter, bucket seats with button tuck interior”.

Göran writes… “From Sweden, 350 TH700R4, rims are 18″ & 20″ , Wilwood disc brake, Air Ride, new interior 2019. I have had her since 2016 and I keep her nice and shiny, We use the car on sunny summer days”.

I saved it in 2016 and currently campaigning it in the Southeast Gassers Association. Small block and a 4speed of course, old school all the way. Thanks for providing excellent parts and service as I’ve bought numerous parts for this car and the quality is second to none. Thanks”.
