This week we are featuring a number of really nice builds starting with a Blown ’57 and Big Block powered ’55 both owned by Alfred Seeling. Thanks for sharing, Alfred.
“I’ve been a Danchuk customer for 20 years. Purchased my ’57 in 1999. Needed complete restoration. When driving it home after buying it from previous owner, I turned on the cassette player AM radio, and the song “I got you Babe” from Sonny and Cher was playing. True story. The ’57 will be my son’s graduation gift when he graduates from college (4 years from now, hopefully) College incentive.
So, I figured I would restore a ’55 post before letting the ’57 go (painfully). The 55 was a four year build. Big block 454, AC, power steering, power brakes, hydraulic clutch, 5 speed Tremec, 12 bolt posi 373 gears. Very fun to drive. I drove this to car to the Lone Star Round Up in Austin TX. in 2018. Drove from El Paso TX. Over 1100 mile trip. Both cars rejuvenate me.
Thank you Danchuk for great parts and service.
Alfred Seelig, El Paso, TX”.

“This is our ’57 Nomad with factory power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seats. The front has been upgraded with drop spindles, disc brakes and a sway bar. Power train is a ’67 327 SBC with power pack heads and the original ’57 intake and Carter 4 barrel carb, aluminum radiator and water pump going to a 2004R trans. Vintage Air AC system, Custom Autosound stereo with Budnick wheels and steering wheel”.
