Designed specifically for your classic Chevy. The coil and blower match to give you the maximum amount of comfort. System attaches to existing holes in dash and firewall without drilling. These kits now use the fully electronic GEN IV Sure Fit System, which features an electronic conversion for stock heater control levers which eliminates all control cables, and separate heating and cooling coils and SPAL permanent magnet blower motor gives you maximum capacity and performance.  Danchuk # 2437 will work on any 1955-1956 classic Chevy model running a stock V8 engine except 1955 265's with the add on oil cooler.  These kits come in 3 box sets, and 2 of the 3 boxes need to be shipped oversized which incurs an extra shipping charge.

Note:  This system is for stock V8 applications only.  Stock configuration for a small block V8 is as follows:  short water pump, generator or alternator on driver side, OE style radiator in the stock V8 position (engine side of the core support) and V-Belts.  Any other configuration other than stock will be a special order.

Special order systems are required for 1955 265 V8 with the oil filter option, Vortec cylinder heads, LS Engines, 6-cylinder engines, Big Blocks and if your radiator is not of an original design in the STOCK V8 position on the engine side of the core support.
