Permatex Red is a high temperature/high strength threadlocker for heavy-duty applications. It prevents bolts and press fits 3/8" to 1" from loosening die to shock, severe vibration and heat stress and it's exclusive formulation makes it perfect for use with newer engines and high performance applications that require extreme temperature resistance. Suited for temperatures up to 450°F it requires heat and hand tools for removal. Danchuk #15886 is suitable for use on all models of 1955-57 classic Chevy cars as well as other vehicles in your collection. Some suggested applications would be camshaft sprocket bolts, crankshaft bolts, idler bearings, press fit filler tubes, transmission input and output shaft threads and ring gear or shock bolts. 6 ml. tube.
